To give our clients better performance and stronger security, our Tableau environment — including all workbooks and dashboards — moved to the cloud.

You’ll need a new account.

Your current Tableau Server credentials are not linked to Tableau Cloud. Cloud access uses a separate account — here’s how to set yours up.

1 Create your accountRegister at id.tableau.com/register using your email address to ensure proper licensing.
2 Complete your profileChoose a strong password and fill in your profile details.
3 Enable MFASwitch on Multi-Factor Authentication to keep your account secure.

MFA is now required. Each time you log in, you’ll receive a verification code on your mobile device.
